Responsibilities
- Travel to different states to conduct field work
- Conduct regulatory research
- Assist in ensuring clients meet all federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare environmental compliance plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies, and clients during field visits
Requirements
- 1-5 years work experience in environmental science
- BA or BS in environmental science or related degree
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel out of state within a week’s notice
- Ability work remotely or occasionally in person
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Ability to work efficiently and within scope budget
- Strong communication skills including both verbal and written
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Ability to work full-time, minimum 40 hours a week
Additional Information
Accuracy Environmental primarily works on hazardous waste and materials, spill prevention, stormwater, air quality permits and plans including working with regulatory agencies during the permitting process. Accuracy Environmental will subcontract the hired individual as an independent contractor, giving the individual a flexible schedule. Starting rate for this individual is dependent on years of experience.
